About Zeitgeist

About zeitgeist, although it tries to talk about Christianity as a myth and its similarity with other religions, trying to argue the attempt of domination through it, using examples such as Christmas, however it is known that this date was chosen intentionally, as a date where births of different gods were originally celebrated. I believe that the analysis of Christianity is somewhat peripheral, since it does not analyze it from the inside, it does not talk about the Bible, where there is a lot of work to study it and its truth in terms of sources and authors, that is why there is a whole branch of the study of the bible, called apologetics.
Finally, and the most important thing is that the word of Christ in the Bible goes against any idea of domination, talking about the fall of man and the chains to which he is bound, it is Christ himself who speaks about not letting himself be dominated by false idols, such as greed, sex, hatred, and talk about love, not romantic love, nor that of a father to his son, but love that breaks any oppression and any hatred of neighbor.
That's why I do not like that Zeitgeist analysis and I think it generalizes practices like those of the Catholic Church, which is a mixture of different pagan visions mixed with Christianity, but they end up being just an illusion of Christianity.
Even Napoleon Bonaparte talks about Christ and the null possibility of being a character born of the imagination of man, because for Bonaparte, who knew how to dominate people was impossible to understand him.
